“No! Of course not. See, the quote has clearly been edited to say 'I will cut for you.' That's why it's important to have a good editor. Sometimes you think the message is clear, but you need another voice in order to clarify and solidify the real meaning. At times, you may fine a truer and clearer message beneath it all!”

“Umm, I think the original message was pretty clear. 'I will cut you' is quite the threat. Why would you even say that?”

“I didn't say that. That's why it's in quotes.”

“But this whole section is in quotes. Did you not say any of this?”

“Well, this is a dialogue. Look, we're getting a bit meta here.

The point is, you need editor. Whether or not you want to admit it, whether or not you even realize it, you need an editor. And a good one at that.

“Editing is more than putting images to music. If that's all you want, that's great, but an editor is a much more powerful tool than that.
